Scott Lingle, DDS Dr. Lingle is a Fellow in the ICOI and an Associate Fellow of both the American College of Oral Implantology and the American Association of Osseointegration. Leo Malin, DDS Dr. Malin graduated from Marquette University in 1991. He maintains a private practice in LaCrosse, WI, where he has been utilizing occlusal based dental concepts since l998. Early in his career, he discovered that the implant placement techniques used could not deliver a standard, predictable result. Therefore, with the help of other experts in the fields of radiology and occlusion, Dr. Malin developed an implant placement technique which focused on occlusion (and cosmetics) for implant placement and crown restoration. This technique has led to five patents pending along with exceptional implant results. Dr. Malin lectures throughout North America on full-mouth reconstructions and implant placement. Michael Sonick, DMD, MS Dr. Sonick is a full-time practicing periodontist and implant surgeon in Fairfield, Connecticut. Kanyon Keeney, DDS, OS Dr. Keeney received his DDS with honors at the Medical College of Virginia in 1984 and obtained an early externship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The Jackson Memorial Hospital Trauma Center in Miami, FL. He completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania in 1987 where he served as Chief Resident. He maintains a practice in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with a concentration in implant surgery. As a cofounder of the Implant Forum of Virginia, Dr. Keeney has worked to bring advanced implant techniques to the Richmond Dental Community. He is a Diplomate in the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow in the American Association of Oral Surgeons and American Society of Dental Anesthesia and became the first active Board Certified Oral Surgeon in Virginia to become a Diplomate in the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Joseph Kan, DDS, MS Dr. Kan is a professor in the Dept. of Restorative Dentistry at Loma Linda University and maintains a private practice in Prosthodontics and Implant Surgery. In 1997, he received the Best Research Award at the Academy of Osseointegration. He received the Judson Hinckey Scientific Award from the Journal of Prosthetic dentistry in 2003 and the Robert James Achievement Award in 2005 for his contributions in the field of implant dentistry. He is on the Periodontology/Implantology Editorial Board of the Practical Procedures & Aesthetic Dentistry and the European Journal of Esthetic dentistry. One of the few clinicians worldwide trained in both the surgical and restorative discipline of implant dentistry, he provides both lectures and surgical demonstrations worldwide and has published more than 50 articles with a focus on anterior esthetics. Wendy Clark, DDS, MS Dr. Wendy AuClair Clark completed her undergraduate training at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA, and then earned her doctoral degree from the Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, WI. She then earned her master’s degree in clinical dentistry and certificate in post-graduate Prosthodontics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. She practiced prosthodontics for 7 years with Team Atlanta (Goldstein, Garber & Salama). Throughout this time, she lectured nationally on a variety of topics ranging from smoking cessation to dental implants. She was named a “Leader in Continuing Education” by Dentistry Today in 2017 and 2019. Currently, she is full time faculty at the University of North Carolina, where she serves as the director of pre-doctoral removable prosthodontics.

Michael McCracken, DDS, MS, PhD Dr. Michael McCracken is a Professor and prosthodontist at the UAB School of Dentistry. The former director of graduate prosthodontics and director of the implant training program, he has is now involved in research at the university, and also directs a safety-net community dental clinic in Bessemer, Alabama, which sponsors an AEGD training program.
